James Hall has specialised in retail tenant representation since 1997 and holds a BSc (hons)in Property Valuation and Finance from City University Business School (now CASS). In addition to his work in the UK, James specialises in advising retailers expanding in continental Europe and has acquired stores for some of the world’s best brands in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Spain, Switzerland and Italy. Prior to the formation of Hall Lahaise, James was a director of niche retail practice Johnstone Hall and Executive VP at New York based Thor Retail Advisors.

Patrick Lahaise has worked in retail property for 20 years advising some of the world’s most well-known brands and retailers. Specialising in lease advisory, store acquisitions and disposals Patrick has been involved in many high profile locations in London and the UK. Patrick is particularly active in Central London where he is regarded as a tenant specialist regularly delivering results for his clients ahead of market. Prior to the formation of Hall Lahaise Patrick was managing director of niche retail agent Ashley Phillips Lahaise and Executive VP at New York based Thor Retail Advisors. Patrick qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2000.
